A Project Manager for our Audio/Visual group is responsible for estimating costs and managing the execution of technology related projects for our clients.  A Project Manager must provide excellent customer service and maintain strong professional relationships with our clients, vendors, partners and fellow employees.  The position demands solid knowledge of low voltage systems, specifically Audio/Visual technology, as well as strong communication, organizational and multi-tasking capabilities to successfully estimate and manage multiple simultaneous projects.  
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong professional relationships with our clients, vendors, partners and fellow employees
  • Gain a thorough understanding of client objectives and project scope
  • Create accurate estimates and proposals of low voltage / technology projects
  • Provide timely and accurate communications to clients, work force, subcontractors and MTG management  
  • Oversee and direct low voltage/technology construction projects
  • Direct work force (including subcontractors) and ensure adherence to plans, contract specifications, applicable codes, safety program and best trade practices
  • Solicit competitive material pricing and manage timely material delivery
  • Solicit any equipment rental pricing and manage timely delivery and return  
  • Coordinate project resources (labor, materials, equipment) to maximize efficiency and ensure project timeline objectives are met
  • Manage costs to meet or exceed set profit margin expectations
  • Create and maintain administrative details in estimating software and service management system (Tigerpaw)
  • Work closely with Financial Department to meet project AR and AP responsibilities
  • Other related duties as required or assigned.
  • Strong understanding of low voltage systems and practical field experience
  • Estimating and project management experience preferred
  • CAD and Visio experience / familiarity preferred  
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong problem solving, decision-making abilities
  • Willing and able to multi-task in a fast paced, multi project based environment
  • Computer proficiency in a Windows environment using MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and other common programs
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
